Overview

The work I am undertaking in the are of Cognitive Systems is by far the most challenging I am facing at the moment. Essentially it is about understanding complex concepts such as consciousness, emotions, volition and free will. The aim is to establish a clear understanding of these, and then translate them in to a control system. Unfortunately, there are many definitions of these concepts and my initial work is to do a thorough survey and review of state of the art. Needless to say that is a major endeavor and so far I have read more than 15 books and 100s of papers. thankfully I am gaining a clear understanding of the subject and I am getting near completion of a first system design.
The first outcome of this project will be a report which should be available for download. Also some papers are planned.
