Teaching Achievments

My teaching style and methodology were vindicated the last two years as I was nominated by the Northumbria University students’ Union as the 2013 and 2014 “Best Lecturer”, 2014 “Best Supervisor” and 2013 “Best Personal Development”.

I also run satisfaction questionnaires at the end of each of the modules I teach, and I have had above 75% marking (with 0% bad, 50% average, and 100% Best) on the four parts of the questionnaires: Teaching abilities & expertise of lecturer, Modules & Lectures, Supplementary Material, and Approachability of lecturer. I have also done a general overhaul of the Industrial Design courses (for 1st year and 2nd year) at the School of Engineering and Computer Science (Northumbria University) in the Product Design Engineering program. I am Currently taking over the programme leadership for the Interactive Media Design Program at Northumbria University.

Previously, I have been from April 2008 to March 2010 chair of the department of Industrial Design (TU/Eindhoven) education committee for bachelors. Overseeing the teaching program of the department, as well as the activities of the director of education. I have a long experience of teaching theories and practices as well as supervising projects to a variety of students in HCI, Interaction Design, Electronics, robotics, and Programming.
