There are few interesting challenges when investigating and developping UbiComp systems and applications.

The adaptation to user to deliver a smart environment (SmartEx), The creating of a mesmerising environment that can distract and disturb the visitor (ALICE) and finally a UbiComp as essentially an adaptive installation that possesses context awareness, delivers natural interaction, and yields a desired user experience (Responsive Environments).
